This year the Latvian Museum of Naïve Art will celebrate its fifth anniversary. Supported by SIA Jaunrīgas attīstības uzņemums, the company in charge of Andrejsala’s development, the the museum is looking forward to opening its fifth season on May 13, 2010.

Those who frequented the south part of Andrejsala in the summer of 2009 probably noticed some activity in and around one of the most notable buildings on the development site, the two-storey brick house in Andrejostas Street 4. The historic building has been refurbished and decorated to be able to accept arists-in-residence. The new purpose of the bulding is also displayed in its current Latvian name, A. Rezidences.

The ‘Andrejsalites’ section of the Andrejsala website has been recently reworked. A list of all enterprises, organisations and individuals that operate in Andrejsala on a regular basis is now available on our website. Might be worth a run-through if you are looking for business partners in Latvia!
