A special activity organised in the south part of Andrejsala on Earth Day (April 22), wrapped up a campaign by the Diena newspaper, Forum Cinemas, Latvijas Valsts meži and SEB inviting young people to pay closer attention to the risks of global warming and to look for practical ways of stopping environmental devastation.

In total, Andrejsala gathered about 50 students from various Latvian schools who, mentored by artists Patricija Brekte, Arta Skuja, Andrejs Māris Eizāns, Ruslans Bilejs and Kristians Brekte, redecorated the outside of a local shed by applying their unique design themes in order to create a Wall of Ideas. During the creative paint job, the moderator's role was assigned to Roberts Gobziņš, while DJ Krī played just the right tracks to foster the teams' productivity.  

The Ideas – People – Transformations campaign lasted four months and involved several thousands of the country's school students.
