Eksportosta, a harbour located to the north of Andrejsala a couple of kilometres away from the city centre, more and more often receives impressive cruise ships bringing to Rīga travellers from various countries. The first ever cruise ship to arrive at Eksportosta, Maxim Gorkiy, stood here in September 2006.

The moorage of Eksportosta can accept passenger ships that are up to 240 metres long and with a draught of up to 10.06 metres as well as freight vessels with a draught of up to 11.7 metres.
