A pay and display parking lot has been recently established in the south end of Andrejsala, near the Rīga Spirits & Wine Outlet at 4 Andrejostas Street (see pictures and map below). Several car park signs with the letter P and a parking metre pictogram are well visible on either side of the street and cannot be easily missed, so drivers who wish to safely park their vehicles in the denoted area are required to pay a parking fee. The rate is two lats for 24 hours.

Since there are no parking metres yet available in Andrejsala, the driver has to pay the fee to the attendant who will then provide a parking ticket for display on the dashboard of the parked car. Drivers travelling to Andrejsala on a regular basis may take advantage of the monthly parking ticket which can be purchased from the attendant on weekdays from 7:30 to 11:00 am (a monthly ticket costs 30 lats).

To stay on the safe side, drivers should take note that illegal parking in Andrejsala may result in a fine imposed by the municipal police frequently patrolling the area, so we would like to suggest that all vehicles be parked appropriately.
